Optum Rx provides prescription drug benefits when you use a network retail pharmacy. For maintenance drugs (medications taken on an ongoing basis), you can obtain a 90-day supply from an Optum Rx retail pharmacy or through an Optum Rx mail-order pharmacy.

Eligibility:

All full-time U.S. employees, pre-65 retirees, and their dependents enrolled in a Corning medical plan administered by UnitedHealthcare are eligible to use prescription drug coverage through Optum Rx.

PinnacleRx

PinnacleRx is the specialty medication copay assistance program, offering eligible members $0 copays for certain specialty medications. They are an independent agency that is not contracted by Optum Rx. If you have questions about PinnacleRx, please contact Integrity Pharmaceutical Advisors (IPA) at 1-888-891-6150 to schedule an appointment to discuss your specialty medication and if your medication may qualify for copay assistance. Appointments for non-urgent issues can be scheduled within 48 hours, while urgent matters will be addressed on the same day. IPA is an independent pharmacy benefit consulting firm contracted by Corning to provide expert guidance and support with prescription drug benefits.
