Eligibility:

All full-time U.S. employees, pre-65 retirees and their dependents (ages 15 and older for the alcohol, tobacco, and cannabis programs and 16 and older for the opioid program) enrolled in a Corning medical plan are eligible for the Pelago program.

Don’t forget! Employees enrolled in a Corning medical plan, administered by UnitedHealthcare or Kaiser, will pay a $1,430 tobacco use surcharge each year on an after-tax basis if they and/or any of their Covered Adult Dependents are Tobacco Users. Employees can avoid paying the surcharge if they either (a) certify themselves and their Covered Adult Dependents as being Tobacco-Free or (b) agree that any Tobacco Users will participate and complete the Pelago tobacco cessation program by June 30 of the subsequent plan year.
