Virta is available to Corning employees, pre-65 retirees, and covered adult dependents between the ages of 18 and 79 who are enrolled in a Corning medical plan administered by UnitedHealthcare. This benefit is currently offered to those with type 2 diabetes or prediabetes. There are some serious medical conditions that would exclude patients from the Virta treatment.
